October 13, 2004: BPEL service integration

The next step in webservices and integration seems the orchestration of services. All vendors have moved into this area. Oracle aquired a tool from Collaxa; IBM and Bea have developed their products and also Microsoft plays a major role with BizTalk. Infoworld published just recently a nice comparison between Oracle's BPEL process manager and IBM's WBISF (WebSphere Business Integration Server Foundation).
