March 21, 2004: OTN new look

On my daily visit to the Oracle Technology Network website (OTN) I was surprised by the new look and feel of the site. It looks a little more professional than it used to be. The content is still the same, but with a few lines and borders it has a more portal look. At first side the main difference seems the left-side navigation that has more or less moved to the bottom of the side, although it appears on the left side again on the 'subpages'. But after a closer look more has changed and added like the feature to 'browse by role (developer, dba, isv and new to oracle)' and the availability of rss feeds and the personality logs.
Despite its quirks I am very happy with otn and I hope the new look will be an improvement.
